ISTITUTO MARANGONI LONDON LAUNCHES BA GRADUATE FASHION SEASON WITH PRESS PREVIEW PRESENTATION

Istituto Marangoni London today opened its 2025 BA Graduate Fashion season with a press preview, spotlighting ten standout designers selected for their creative vision, technical innovation, and cultural relevance. Hosted at the Embassy of Italy, the breakfast event offered editors and industry guests an intimate view at key looks ahead of the designers’ international debut in Paris this July.

Supported by His Excellency Inigo Lambertini, Ambassador of Italy to the UK, and Adi Maoz-Cohen, Director of Education at Istituto Marangoni London, this intimate showcase offered a rare opportunity to view the full collections and meet the designers behind them.

“Here in London, Istituto Marangoni serves as an outpost of Italian excellence,” said Ambassador Lambertini. “It is a bridge between two creative fashion capitals—a place where education meets industry, where talent meets opportunity, and where Italian culture flourishes, reinterpreted by young voices who carry it into the future,” he added, introducing the presentation.

The ten selected graduates will go on to present full collections at ‘SYNERGETIC’, a dual-campus runway show bringing together talent from Istituto Marangoni London and Paris at the iconic Palais de Tokyo on July 3 2025. In a landmark 90th anniversary year for the school, this cross-campus collaboration highlights the unique creative identities of each city, while championing a shared ethos of innovation, craftsmanship, and narrative design.

As part of its 90th year celebrations, as the school continues to expand and innovate, recent In-Conversation events have welcomed fashion leaders including Sir Paul Smith, Sarah Mower MBE, Susie Lau, and Rahul Mishra, offering students candid insights into the evolving creative landscape.

In parallel, the school is proud to announce a new strategic collaboration with British luxury house ERDEM. Launching this summer, the ERDEM x Istituto Marangoni London mentorship programme includes a fully funded scholarship and 12-week placement with the brand, led by CEO Philippa Nixon, who joins the MA Fashion & Luxury Brand Management programme as mentor.
