The brieF


In August 2019, WHITEHAIR.CO won a 6 month contract to create, set up and implement the social media strategy for Decree. 

Decree was a new premium Dr Led cosmeceutical skincare brand, which was due to launch into Harvey Nichols and Cult Beauty.

WHITEHAIR.CO took care all aspects of Decree’s social media including:

  • strategy and tactics

  • content calendar

  • the creation of exclusive images: photographic + graphic

  • copy: concepts and captions

  • community engagement

WHITEHAIR.CO created a cohesive, consistent and visually appealing social media presence for Decree, covering Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest. Here you can see the Instagram account as of January 2020.

THE anayltics

The Decree Instagram account was chosen as the lead platform, and the analytics after 6 months were:


  • a 113% increase in followers in the first 6 months

  • an average engagement of 6.36%*


*This was calculated based on all likes, shares and comments. And to give some context, the beauty brand engagement average is just 0.86% (source HERE).




After the 6 month project came to an end, the Decree account was handed back to the in-house team, along with a comprehensive strategy document created by WHITEHAIR.CO. The main aim of this document being to help to maintain the sophisticated tone of voice and mood that had been created to suit the Decree brand.  

Decree continue to utilise WHITEHAIR.CO for consultancy and graphic design services to support the in-house team.
