VAHDAM® India is a digitally native, global wellness brand making available India’s finest teas and superfoods to consumers across the world. Founded in 2015 by then 23-year-old Bala Sarda, VAHDAM® India has been endorsed by global icons including Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres, Mariah Carey and Martha Stewart, among others.VAHDAM® India has been shipped to over 2 million consumers across 130 countries.
The conventional supply of tea is impaired by the involvement of multiple middlemen and by the time it reaches its consumers, it loses its prime freshness, flavour & quality.
VAHDAM® India is a vertically integrated brand. All VAHDAM Teas are sourced directly from plantations and farmers within days of harvest, packaged garden-fresh at their BRC Certified state-of-the-art facility in the National Capital Region of India and shipped directly to its global fulfilment centres in various parts of the world.
By eliminating all unnecessary middlemen VAHDAM® is not only able to make available garden fresh, high-quality teas & superfoods to consumers across the globe direct from source, but are also able to retain all earnings in the region where they are grown and nurtured by millions of farmers.

Sustainability & Social Initiatives
VAHDAM® India places sustainability and social initiatives at the centre of its ethos. VAHDAM’s plantation-to-consumer structure not only prioritises freshness, but ensures that farmers get the best price for their work in the long run. Taking a more direct approach, VAHDAM’s ‘TEAch Me’ initiative directs 1% of its revenue towards the education of tea growers' children, while a recent partnership with BYJUS, the world's highest-valued edtech company, makes 100,000 academic programmes accessible to the children, free of cost.
Although VAHDAM’s shorter supply chain has its own environmental benefits, VAHDAM is also a plastic and climate-neutral certified brand, with further promises to become entirely plastic-free by 2024.

VAHDAM® India was founded in 2015 by then 23-year-old Bala Sarda who comes with a lineage of over 85 years in tea and is the fourth generation in his family to run a tea business. Entrepreneurial since childhood, Sarda is now creating his own legacy, underpinned by his overarching philosophy ‘Do Good by Doing Good’. Which, in Sarda’s case, meant seizing the opportunity to fix the fragmented supply chain from plant to consumer, and create India’s first truly ethical homegrown tea & superfoods brand.
